DMG is Damage — the value printed in the top-left corner of every card. Revealed cards carry DMG values from 1 to 3.

What is the difference between HP and LIFE?

Characters and EX Characters print HP. Leaders print LIFE instead — both revealed Leaders start on 15, and reducing an opponent's Leader to zero LIFE wins the game.

What does Support [1 CHAKRA] mean on a card?

Card stats

The numbers printed on every card face. Leaders and Characters share DMG and POW but differ on the third value.

DMG: Damage. Printed top-left. This is the value used when the card attacks the opposing Leader, reducing its Life. Revealed values run from 1 to 3.Seen on: Every revealed card
POW: Power. Printed top-right. This is the value used when attacking a rested Character, reducing its HP — a different number from DMG, so a card can be good at pressuring Leaders and bad at trading, or vice versa. Several effects also key off it: Gamabunta requires discarding a Character with 10 or more power.Seen on: Every revealed card
HP: Hit points, printed on Characters and EX Characters. Reduced by an attacker's POW; at 0 the Character goes to the trash.Seen on: All revealed Characters

Game vocabulary

The wider terminology — resources, zones and actions referenced across card text and Bandai's own descriptions.

Chakra: The resource pool. Exactly 5 per deck, starting face-up. Paying a cost flips one face-down, and there is no automatic refresh at the start of a turn — the only way back is a Leader's [Recovery], which costs that Leader its attack. Rested / standing: A card turned sideways has rested. Attacking rests the attacker, and resting the Leader is how you refresh Chakra. Crucially, you may only attack Characters that are already rested — standing Characters cannot be targeted, so attacking is what exposes you to a counter-attack.Seen on: Bandai how-to-play guide
Support [N CHAKRA]: A named Jutsu printed on a Character, activated from hand by paying N Chakra at the timing that follows. This is how Jutsu appear in the game — there is no separate Jutsu or Ninjutsu card type.Seen on: Kakashi Hatake (N-009) — Support [1 CHAKRA]: Lightning Blade
Jutsu / Ninjutsu: A technique unleashed by a Character card by paying a Chakra cost. Ninjutsu is a kind of Jutsu, not a card type — a common error in early coverage.Seen on: Bandai press release (Character card definition)
Trash: The discard pile. EX Character [Summon Requirements] place your own Characters here, and several effects summon back out of it.Seen on: All revealed EX Characters
