Cards explained

NARUTO CARD GAME card types

What is a Leader card?+
The Leader card is the heart of your deck. Your Leader's color determines which cards you can include, and their Life total is what your opponent must reduce to 0 to win. Each deck has exactly one Leader card.
How do Character cards work?+
Character cards form your front line in battle. They are played by resting your Summon card and have varying Power and Chakra costs. Some Characters can also activate Ninjutsu by paying Chakra. Your deck can include multiple copies.
What are EX Characters?+
EX Characters are powerful variants that can only be played once certain conditions are met — often when your Leader's Life is low or specific characters are on the field. They cost more but swing games.
What are Chakra cards for?+
Chakra cards are the resource system. You include exactly 5 Chakra cards in your deck. When played face-down in the Chakra zone, they can be spent to activate Ninjutsu and other support cards.
What are Summon cards?+
Summon cards are required to play Character cards onto the battlefield. You include exactly 1 Summon card. Rest it to bring one of your characters into play. Different Summons may have different effects.
