Five steps

Your first game

  1. Build a legal deck

A deck is 1 Leader, 50 main deck cards, 5 Chakra and 1 Summon — 57 cards in total. Your Leader's colour decides which cards may go in the rest of the deck, so pick the Leader first.

  2. Set up the field

Both players place their Leader, shuffle, and draw an opening hand. Chakra cards go to their own zone — they are the resource you spend, not cards you play to the field.

  3. Take your turn

A turn moves through its phases in a fixed order: ready your cards, draw, gain Chakra, then use your main phase to summon Characters and activate abilities.

    Turn structure →
  4. Attack and defend

Characters attack the opposing Leader or each other. Damage is compared against POW and HP, and the defending player may respond before it resolves.

    Battle sequence →
  5. Win

You win by reducing the opposing Leader's LIFE to zero. Leaders carry LIFE where Characters carry HP — that difference is the whole shape of the game.

We are a reference, not a client

Bandai has not announced a digital NARUTO CARD GAME, and we do not run an unofficial one. What this site does instead: every revealed card, a deck builder that knows the construction rules, prices once a market exists, and the rules explained properly.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How do you play the NARUTO CARD GAME?+
Each player builds a 57-card deck around a single Leader, then takes turns gaining Chakra, summoning Characters and attacking. You win by reducing your opponent's Leader to zero LIFE.
How many cards are in a NARUTO CARD GAME deck?+
57: 1 Leader, 50 main deck cards, 5 Chakra cards and 1 Summon card. Bandai's English press release said 51 main deck cards, but the Japanese how-to-play guide prints 50 in two places — the English figure appears to have folded the Leader into the count.
How many copies of one card can I use?+
Bandai has not published a copy limit. Our deck builder assumes 4 per card number, matching Bandai's One Piece and Digimon card games, and flags it as an assumption rather than presenting it as a rule.
Is there an official online version?+
Not yet. Bandai has not announced a digital client for the NARUTO CARD GAME. We do not run an unofficial simulator — this site is a reference for the paper game: cards, decks, prices and rules.
When does the NARUTO CARD GAME release?+
Worldwide in 2027, following the July 2026 reveal and the Gen Con world debut. No exact date has been announced.
