One week from now, the NARUTO CARD GAME stops being a press release and becomes a playable game. Here's the week that matters:

Wednesday, July 29 — the full reveal

Bandai has promised a fuller look at the game the day before Gen Con opens: the first card designs, gameplay information, and the release roadmap. This is the moment we learn what the game actually is — mechanics, look, and how the road to the 2027 worldwide release is structured.

July 30 – August 2 — Gen Con Indianapolis

The world debut. Bandai is running the first-ever NARUTO CARD GAME tutorial sessions on the show floor at the Indiana Convention Center — the first time anyone outside the company plays it.

What to know if you're going:

• Gen Con admission is required — the sessions run inside the convention.
• Sessions are booked through Gen Con's event system; registration for tutorial slots opened via the official Gen Con 2026 site.
• Expect demo decks built for teaching, not the final product — Bandai's established pattern for pre-launch conventions.

Why this Gen Con matters

Bandai launching a global TCG is a rare event — the One Piece Card Game in 2022 was the last one of this scale, and it became one of the biggest TCGs in the world. A Naruto license with Bandai's tournament infrastructure behind it is the most anticipated card game launch of 2027, and next week is the first real look at it.

Until then, the history is worth knowing: this is Bandai's second Naruto card game. The first one ran 28 sets from 2006 to 2013 — and some of those cards are worth real money now.
