NARUTO CARD GAME worldwide release, Summer 2027: everything confirmed and everything still blank

The NARUTO CARD GAME's release announcement is four words long. Bandai's homepage opens with Arriving in Summer 2027, under a banner reading NARUTO CARD GAME GLOBAL RELEASE CONFIRMED, and adds one sentence of detail: the game is confirmed for a simultaneous global release, with more info coming soon.

That is genuinely all of it. Everything else on this page is either the context around that line or an inventory of what is missing from it, which for a game this heavily pre-ordered is the more useful half.

What is confirmed

Two press releases carry the commitment. The first, on June 18, 2026, said the game was planned for a worldwide release in 2027 and carried a comment and a commemorative illustration from Masashi Kishimoto. The second, on July 29, 2026, published the roadmap and ended it with Worldwide release, Summer 2027.

Simultaneous, and what that word is doing

"Simultaneous global release" is the single most consequential thing Bandai has said about the launch, and it is worth understanding why.

Several Bandai card games have run Japan first, with English following months or years later, which produces the familiar mess: import pricing, split card pools, a secondary market trading on a lead the rest of the world does not have. Bandai is stating that will not happen here.

Its trade page supports the claim. The retailers page already names sixteen official distributors across five regions: North America, Europe, Oceania, Latin America and the Middle East. That is a wider opening footprint than a soft regional launch needs, published ten months out. The June 2026 press release describes BANDAI CARD GAMES as operating across more than 50 regions worldwide.

The official site itself is published in four language versions, and its front door is a region chooser covering Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, Oceania and the Middle East. What Bandai has not said is anything about the cards themselves: no language editions, no regional printings, no distinct product lines per territory have been announced. The site's language options are website localisation, and it would be a mistake to read a product plan into them.

What has not been announced

This is the part that matters if you are about to spend money.

Bandai has published no NARUTO CARD GAME product of any kind. Specifically, as of September 2, 2026, there is:

• No launch set. No set name, no set code, no card count.
• No booster. No pack size, no packs per box, no boxes per case.
• No starter deck or preconstructed product.
• No card MSRP, in any currency.
• No release date beyond a season.
• No organised play structure, format, ban list or copy limit.
• No products page on the official site at all.

The only card code that exists is CP-001, the free promo Chakra card handed to tutorial session participants, and the only two Leader numbers seen publicly are N-001 and N-012. The cards page collects what has been shown, which is twelve card images on Bandai's own site, all watermarked SAMPLE.

The one price

One item has a number attached to it: the NARUTO CARD GAME Official Playmat, Arriving in 2027, at MSRP $35 (+tax). It is sold at Bandai's convention booths, limited to one per person and to limited quantities per day. At Gen Con it required a purchase ticket earned by completing a tutorial session; at New York Comic Con and PAX Aus the listing states only that quantities are limited.

Note the product name. Even the playmat, which you can hand over money for today, is described as arriving in 2027.

About those pre-orders

You can find NARUTO CARD GAME booster boxes listed for pre-order right now, with prices, pack counts and an expected 2027 ship note. Every one of those figures was invented by a retailer.

That is not an accusation of dishonesty. A shop opening a placeholder listing is queuing demand ahead of an allocation it hopes to receive, and the box configuration and price on it are its best guess, drawn from Bandai's other titles. But a guess presented in a cart with a price looks exactly like a fact, and it is not one. The road to Summer

The published sequence runs from the Gen Con debut through the October convention block, the Fest stops at Orlando and London, further information in December 2026, and in-store tutorial sessions from January 2027. The product announcements have to land somewhere in that stretch, because stores cannot be allocated a set that has no code.
