NARUTO CARD GAME at Lucca Comics & Games 2026: tutorial sessions planned, October 28 to November 1

The last European stop on Bandai's autumn schedule is also the longest, and the one it has said least about. On the NARUTO CARD GAME roadmap the entry reads Lucca Comics & Games 2026 (Italy / October 28 to November 1, 2026). On the homepage schedule, filed under November, the same five days carry the note Tutorial Sessions planned. There is no third sentence.

What Bandai has published, and what it has not

Bandai's roadmap treats its stops unequally. Gen Con 2026, BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 26-27, New York Comic Con 2026 and PAX Aus 2026 each carry an "Event Information" link to a page with a venue, a booth, registration rules and a list of what participants receive. Spiel Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca do not. They are dates with an activity type attached.

For Lucca, that means none of the following exists in public:

• No area, pavilion or stand. The festival spreads across the city; Bandai has not said which part of it the card games occupy.
• No session times, capacity or duration.
• No registration method. Advance booking was used at Gen Con, on the day sign up at New York Comic Con and PAX Aus. Neither has been named for Lucca.
• No participant gift. CP-001, the Logo Sticker and the $35 Official Playmat are attached to the American and Australian pages. Nothing ties any of them to Italy.
• No Italian language confirmation for the demo or the tutorial, and no euro price for anything.

The word Bandai uses is "planned", not "confirmed", and the site carries its usual notice that contents may change without notice.

The festival itself

Everything here comes from Lucca Comics & Games' own site. Its English pages refused our requests, so the facts below are drawn from the Italian site and the 2026 edition site.

Lucca Crea describes the festival as "più di un festival: è una missione culturale multisfaccettata incentrata sul fumetto e sul gioco, lunga tutto l'anno": more than a festival, a year long cultural mission built around comics and games. Lucca Crea is itself "società interamente di proprietà del Comune", a company wholly owned by the municipality, which is an unusual arrangement for an event of this size and worth knowing: the show is run by the city, not by a trade fair operator.

That year round framing is visible in the 2026 calendar. Before the festival opens, a Campfire programme ran through specialty shops across Italy from September 14 to October 10, and a discounted Campfire Summer Tickets window ran from August 28 to 31, with regular ticket sales continuing to October 27. The site describes multiple ticket types and season passes but does not print prices on the pages we fetched, and it points visitors to a vademecum covering tickets and passes, complimentary entries, partner discounts and parking. Opening hours and an area map were not on any page we could read.

Why Lucca is the interesting one

Of the three European stops, Lucca is the only one whose remit already includes both halves of what Bandai is selling. Spiel Essen is a board game fair, Paris Games Week is a video game show, and Lucca is a comics festival with a games half in the same ticket. A NARUTO title sits naturally across that seam. It is also the longest window, five days against four, and it is a festival where publishers routinely take space in the city rather than in a hall.

None of which is a Bandai statement. It is context for a stop that currently has a date and nothing else.

The road on from here

Lucca closes the October run: New York Comic Con on October 8 to 11, PAX Aus on October 9 to 11, then Spiel Essen and Paris Games Week together on October 22 to 25, then Lucca. After that the schedule moves to BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest dates through the winter, in store tutorial sessions from January 2027, and the worldwide release in Summer 2027.

No booster, starter deck, set code or card price has been announced for the NARUTO CARD GAME. The only published price is the $35 plus tax Official Playmat arriving in 2027, and the only card code in public is CP-001, covered in the CP-001 guide.
